We are now working with the Purdue Center for Regional Development (PCRD) and the Economic Development Institute at the University of Oklahoma (OU/EDI) to develop a certificate program in Open Source Economic Development. 

Later this month, we are assembling a working group at PCRD to design the coursework needed for the certificate. We next present this proposal to the board of OU/EDI in December. If all goes well, we should launch this new certificate course in April, 2008. 

Already, the economic development  state association in Indiana has expressed interest in partnering to offer this course to its members.
