Exploring open innovation networks

If you are interested in exploring the evolving concept of open innovation networks, reading Henry Chesbrough's book, Open Innovation, is the place to start.

There are other good books to explore. Andrew Hargadon has written a solid book on the role networks play in innovation, How Breakthroughs Happen.

Recently, the Committee for Economic Development, a group of corporate executives, published a good report on open innovation. You can download it here.

Then there are good weblogs on innovation that have emerged in the last couple of years.  One of the best is Innovate.
