As regions begin to recognize that they are regions, strategies are emerging that cross organizational and political boundaries. These strategies focus on a number of different strategies. 

The common threads that run across regions creates an opportunity for sharing insights, models, methods, tools. With our partners -- Near Time, the Department of Labor, and the Purdue Center for Regional Development --- we are building these innovation communities.
